Accrual rules: annual leave accrues progressively throughout the year (not allocated upfront). Personal leave is allocated in full at the start of each year. Leave approval workflows: team member submits request → direct manager approves → HR notified for record-keeping. For leave exceeding 5 consecutive days, require a medical certificate (configurable as a mandatory attachment). For annual leave during peak periods, configure blackout dates.
Reporting for compliance: generate leave balance reports monthly, accrual liability reports quarterly (important for financial statements), and leave usage patterns annually.
