Most “free consultations” are demos with a quote attached. Ours isn’t. Discovery is 60 minutes to understand your business well enough that we can recommend a Zoho approach, or tell you Zoho isn’t the right fit, without pretending every CRM or Books job is identical.
This is for owners, ops leads, and sales managers who are evaluating Zoho consulting in Australia and want to know what happens after they hit contact, and what they get even if they don’t hire us.
What goes wrong without real discovery: partners sell Zoho One when you need two apps; hours get guessed from a product name; automations get built for a process that doesn’t exist; migrations start before anyone agrees what “clean data” means. The invoice shows up before the problem is defined.
What we ask: how you sell and deliver today; where work lives (spreadsheets, email, another CRM); who will use the system daily; GST/BAS or support SLAs if relevant; integrations that can’t break; what “done” looks like in 90 days. What we skip: feature tours of 45 Zoho apps, pressure to buy licenses through us, and fixed hour quotes for tasks we haven’t seen.
What you leave with: a written recommendation within about five business days, products we’d use, implementation approach, and which hourly rate band applies (under 20 / 20-50 / 50+). Scope is agreed before paid work. Complexity sits in the platform and in your processes; discovery is how we stop guessing.
DIY after discovery is still an option. Sometimes the honest outcome is “start with Books and CRM yourself using this checklist.” Sometimes it’s “you need a phased CRM + Books build in the medium band.” Both are useful outcomes. We’d rather lose a project than oversell.
Checklist to prepare: one-page summary of how leads become revenue; list of current tools and who owns them; example of a “painful” week (missed follow-ups, BAS scramble, support backlog); decision-maker available on the call; rough user count by role. You don’t need a brief, you need reality.
Ready when you are: book a free discovery meeting via our contact page. No obligation, no follow-up spam, a clear recommendation and the rate band that fits what you’re actually after.
